Many people are fascinated nowadays with the world of the undead. If you have noticed, vampires and zombies are the ones ruling the airwaves. They dominate television series and get very high ratings. In the big screens also, they are huge box-office successes. Ironic as it may seem but being undead seems to be the “in” thing right now for the living. Because of this many are hooked and looking forward for the pilot episode of The Walking Dead Season 2. The previous season was such a hit to the audience that the producers opted for the The Walking Dead Episode 1 of the new season planned out as soon as possible.
This series is actually adopted from a graphic novel series. The title of the novel is the same as well as the TV series. The writers of the novel are Tony Moore, Robert Kirkman and Charlie Adlard. The one who made it possible to be shown on television is Frank Darabont. It premiered in TV through the AMC network last October 31, 2010. For this season, it is expected to run for 13 episodes. This would surely satisfy the cravings of the fans from last season and for sure will still manage to have them craving for more episodes.
This show is actually about the plight of a group of survivors after a zombie apocalypse. The small of surviving Americans are traveling throughout the country in hope of running away from the undead. The series tells us about their daily struggles both from fighting the zombies and overcoming differences with fellow survivors. They also meet other people striving for survival as well coming from different parts of the country and their attempts to keep a peaceful relationship with each other are highlighted considering the fact that the rules of society are already gone.
